Jesus Visited England
There are many stories and legends that suggest Jesus visited Britain, including Cornwall and Somerset, a few years before his crucifixion. Some say he may have traveled with his uncle Joseph of Arimathea, a wealthy metal trader who visited Europe on business trips. According to these stories, Joseph would have taken Jesus to England when he was a teenager, and they may have visited places like St Just in Roseland and St Michael's Mount.
Other legends say that Jesus traveled to Britain as a boy, lived in Priddy in the Mendips, and built the first wattle cabin at Glastonbury. William Blake's early 19th-century poem "And did those feet in ancient time" was inspired by this story.
